Louisiana Benefit Advisors' owner Matt Scoggins has been in the insurance industry for the past 25 years. He worked as a Preferred Agent with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana for 21 of those years. During his tenure at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana he achieved and maintained President Club status, was honored as the top sales agent for numerous years and was widely recognized and respected as one of the most knowledgeable agents within the company.

Matt and his team specialize in individual, medicare and small group business; however, his passion is primarily working with the Senior Market where he started his insurance career in 1997.

Understanding that not one single product or one insurance company can meet the needs of all of his clients, Matt decided to leave Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana as a Preferred Agent in the spring of 2022 and partner with JJL&W Insurance Consulting Firm, LLC.
